What’s Biting
June is a great month for deep sea fishing along the Carolina coast. Fish react to temperature just like humans. They move to wherever they’re most comfortable. There are ranges where certain fish are more comfortable. So, knowing how various fish are going to react to changes in water temperature give the savvy angle a distinct advantage. We’ve been fishing these waters for going on 40 years, we’ll put you on the fish! Snapper, grouper, sea bass, trigger fish, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia, shark and many more species are biting this month. Offshore water temperatures have risen into the 70s throughout May and will reach the low 80s during the month of June.
June Specials
For June we’re offering all day trips to catch snapper, grouper, sea bass, trigger fish, and many other species. We have half day trips for Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, Cobia, and Shark. At Fish Screamer Charters we can accommodate small private groups up to large groups on a variety of boats.
What You Will Need
It’s important that you bring with you plenty of water or Gatorade (or equivalent) to keep you hydrated while you’re at sea. Bring whatever you’ll want to eat for the time you’re on the boat, and pack some sunscreen…maybe a hat. It is a good idea to wear some soft soled shoes…the deck can get pretty slippery from all the fish we’ll be catching. You’ll want all the traction you can get to reel in the big ones. Bring a cooler to take home your catch. You won’t need it on the boat, but have it handy (in your car) when we return to the dock.
What You Will Not Need
We have all the best tackle and the right bait on board our boats that we will need for the trip. Our mates are there to help you get the tackle and bait set up, too. Just come ready to fish….we’ll take good care of you.
Where We’re Located
